ABOUT US
Lighthouse Ministries has a rich history that began in 2002 when Lewis and Kristen Burke responded to a call to serve in Cambodia. Their journey started with a vision to establish a mission base in Southeast Asia. Over the years, Lighthouse Ministries has grown and evolved, pursuing its mission to be a Christian presence in the nations, pioneer missions to the unreached, train indigenous leaders, and minister to the vulnerable. This led to the establishment of Heritage House in 2003, providing care and support to orphaned and abandoned children in Cambodia.
Today, Lighthouse Ministries continues to move forward. The ministry remains steadfast in its four-point mission. Lighthouse is committed to spreading the gospel message in the nations. With a focus on pioneering missions to the unreached and unengaged, the organization seeks to bring the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who have not yet heard. Equally, the ongoing training of indigenous leaders empowers them to minister effectively to their people groups. Additionally, Lighthouse Ministries remains dedicated to ministering to orphans, widows, and the poor, offering tangible support and care. As it moves forward, Lighthouse Ministries is poised to make an even greater impact, touching lives and transforming communities through its unwavering commitment to its mission.
