Lighthouse Ministries Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, inspired by Him and without error in its original form. It holds absolute authority in all matters of doctrine, morality, spirituality, and physical life.

We believe in the triune nature of God, consisting of God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. They are co-equal and co-eternal and, together, form the One true God.
​
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience, resulting in separation from God. Man's nature is sinful and in need of redemption, which can only be obtained through faith in Jesus Christ.
​
We believe in the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross through His sacrificial death and resurrection. His atonement provides reconciliation between God and humanity, and it is complete and final for all who believe in Him.
​
We believe that the Church is the body of believers in Jesus Christ, both locally and universally. The Church has the mission to fulfill God's will on earth through evangelism, discipleship, worship, and fellowship. Christ is the head of the Church, and local churches are led by a plurality of elders.

We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman.
​
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and unsaved. Believers will be resurrected to eternal life, while the unsaved will face eternal punishment in hell.
​
We believe that hell is a just and eternal punishment for those who have rebelled against God.
​
We believe that those who have not heard the gospel are lost in their sin and in need of salvation. It is the Church's responsibility to reach them with the message of hope in Jesus Christ.
