Our Mission
Principles
- Pioneering Missions: Our foremost aim is to venture into regions where the gospel has not yet reached and engage with communities that remain un-evangelized. We strive to bring the message of Christ to these unreached and unengaged nations.
- Christian Presence: We are committed to being a tangible Christian presence in the nations we serve. This means immersing ourselves in the local communities, learning their languages, embracing their cultures, and becoming a part of their lives. By doing so, we seek to demonstrate the love and truth of Jesus Christ authentically.
- Indigenous Leadership: A key aspect of our mission is to equip and empower indigenous leaders within their own people groups. We believe in the importance of training local individuals to minister to their communities effectively. Our goal is to raise up leaders who can plant churches and propagate the gospel within their own cultures.
- Serving the "Least of These": Lighthouse has a deep commitment to serving the vulnerable and marginalized, particularly orphans, widows, and the poor. We believe in addressing the practical needs of these individuals and offering them the love and care that reflect the teachings of Christ.
The overarching mission of Lighthouse is to go where there is no existing Christian presence and present the gospel with utmost clarity and depth. Our vision extends across Southeast Asia and to any place where the message of the gospel has yet to be proclaimed.
In pursuit of this mission, we emphasize the significance of sound theological training, equipping individuals for effective ministry, and maintaining strong connections with local sending churches. By combining these elements, we strive to make a lasting impact on communities and individuals who have not yet encountered the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
